Simple Anime Reviews: Attack on Titan
MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD
I haven't watched the show in a while, but this was in high demand, so I'm doing it. Attack on Titan is a great anime. If you like all that blood and gore stuff, then oh boy you're gonna love this. So basically the story is as follows. All these big titans go mad and start eating humans for fun for some reason. What do the humans do? They make super sharp swords to slash at them with. Since I've been busy, this review will be slightly shorter than usual.
Story/Storytelling: 70/100
Personally, I think the story is great. It's just that it's very different from the source material. They give this anime too much buildup in story, and not enough action. But otherwise, it's really good, and I hope they fix this in the next season.
Art/Animation: 100/100
The art and animation gets 100/100 for the very fact that I almost had an eyegasm when watching.
Music: ?/100
I never noticed any music, or really paid attention to it.
Characters: 90/100
Oh boy, Mikasa and Eren are some of the best MCs in anime so far. They have so much built on their character (I hope that means something) that it's just unreal. The side characters are also very well done, each with their own personality.
Overall: 87/100
This anime is a must watch for people who like a more serious turn on things. Other than that people could still find enjoyment in its short, but funny jokes that pop up occasionally. Oh, and this show is like, really edgy.

Simple Anime Review: My Hero Academia
MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD
Alright, hear me out. My Hero Academia is actually REALLY GOD DAMN COOL! I just thought of it as a crappy webtoon adaptation before, but now I think of it as anime of the year (at least for 2017)! The whole squad is here! We got hair eater, floaty girl, frog girl, class president, and angry boy! Oh boy, you MHA fans are in for a treat!
Story/Storytelling: 90/100
The story is spectacular. This anime makes you feel as if you were hearing it from your grandpa (that's a good thing). Basically it's story, more story, BOOM ACTION, MORE ACTION, EVEN MORE ACTION, some more story, LOTS MORE ACTION! I absolutely love this series. There's no filler, just amazing story and fights.
Art/Visuals: 100/100
The art style and visuals of this anime is nothing less than perfect. These visuals make your mouth water, making you want more, so you end up waiting week by week for every new episode about to come out, and then the season is over, and then you're stuck waiting for season 4, so in the meantime you write a review about the series to pass time. The art style is just too perfect for this type of anime. Hey Kohei, could you turn it down? You're making me cry!
Music: 90/100
The music fits this anime so well, that I might as well make my whole music playlist the entire OST! It's perfect for this anime, and this anime alone. That's all
Characters: 95/100
My Hero Academia wouldn't be My Hero Academia without the characters. Izuku Midoriya is the main protagonist of the show, and he looks so... plain? But it's not like that's a bad thing, with everyone having a quirk (basically a superpower) and all. Oh, did I mention that he doesn't have a quirk? Yes, the main character being your average Joe is almost unheard of in this genre. But enough with Izuku, let's talk about the others! We have Ochako Uraraka, who's quirk is to make things float, she's pretty much the main waifu of the show. We have Iida Tenya, the class president, who's quirk is his engines on his calves which make him go really fast! Then there's Bakugo, we all know him, he's the one who could make explosions happen out of his hands. He'd be a better protagonist than Izuku if he wasn't the biggest jerk of all time.
Overall: 94/100
This is the must-watch for any anime fan, old or new. You like action? BAM action! You like story? BOOM story! This is THE anime to watch.

Simple Anime Review: Oreimo
MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD
Oreimo is pretty much just Eromanga-sensei's big brother with more content and story, yet since they're related they both suck. Here's the story in a nutshell. Big bro finds out sis is into little sisters and stuff. Sis is embarrassed and then things escalate. So, onward with the review!
Story/Storytelling: 25/100
When I said this series was just Eromanga-sensei's big brother, I meant literally. Tsukasa Fumishi wrote both, and I'm disappointed. The story (which is still better than Eromanga-sensei's), is lackluster. It doesn't have the right tone to it, and it's repetitively telling us to hate Kirino, AND SHE'S THE LITTLE SISTER! If I were in charge of the production of this anime, I would've cancelled the production of it right away.
Art/Animation: 85/100
This art style and animation is pretty damn good. AIC and Tsukasa knew what they were doing when they animated this, good job.
Music: 85/100
The music really fits this anime well, like a fresh pair of underwear on New year's day. Honestly, I have nothing more to say other than that.
Characters: 70/100
The characters here are... well... unique. Let me sum it up for you guys. There's MC Chad, annoying sister, Saori Bajeena, Kuroneko, plain girl, and plain girl but fujoshi. The characters really make this anime slightly better. But still, there are some lovable characters that aren't featured in every episode. Like Kyousuke's mom and dad.
Overall: 66/100
This show is a disappointment just like every other anime in this genre. Please stop requesting these.

Simple Anime Review: Your Name
MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD
Your Name is a story between two people tied by fate. Basically, one day two people switched bodies, and now they want to find out who they switched bodies with, until they just stop switching bodies. The way they tell this story is near perfect, and this is why I'm writing a review on it.
Story/Storytelling: 95/100
Your Name's way of telling it's story is actually great. Like, you're seeing one end of the story and then BOOM you're seeing it from the other side! There are of course some flaws in the story, and the way some of it was translated led to some controversy, (eg. Taki's writing on Mistsuha's hand), but none of it affected the story for m- wait, why am I talking about this here? Anyway, NEXT!
Art/Animation: 100/100
The only perfect score on this review. The art style fits really well with the feel of the story. And the animation, it's nothing less than beautiful. It feels like the animation and art studio working on this put their heart and effort into making this movie look and feel as good as possible.
Music: 85/100
The music is great, there's nothing bad about it, but it's that some of it just doesn't belong. Sometimes there are scenes that don't need music, but the put music in anyways. Other than that, it fits the movie very well.
Characters: 90/100
Everyone in this movie is like a real person. There's none of that fake "I love you please be my girlfriend" bullcrap here. Even the background characters have a great personality. But what really shines are the stars of the show, Taki Tachibana and Mitsuha Miyamizu. Not only do they feel like real human beings, it's as if they had feelings and emotions, not only as people, but as characters.
Overall: 93/100
This is a movie for everyone, no matter the age, preference, or tastes. The characters are great, the music is near perfect, the animation is superb, and the story is amazing. This movie is a must see for all anime fans, and newcomers to anime. Overall, this is a great anime and everyone should at least give it a chance.
